To be an effective teacher or tutor you must have the right combination of patience, commitment, knowledge, and technology. I believe that being able to balance those things allows your students to achieve good grades in rigorous math courses. I have my degree in math education from Indiana University-Bloomington. I have a deep understanding of mathematics concepts and create rich lesson plans that are catered to the needs of each student. I know that students don't always share the same enthusiasm of the subject that I do upon entering our first session, but I always hope that by the end of our time together they do.
