I earned my bachelor's degree in theatre arts with a focus on performance and playwriting. I have an extensive background in tutoring in both an informal and professional capacity. I have worked with students on standardized test prep and college-level writing. I am also interested in science, biology, sociology, chemistry, algebra, and psychology. My theory is that knowing how to think is more useful than knowing what to think. Each of our sessions will contain discussions about basic topics, frequent questions, and making sure students not only understand the what of the topic, but also the why. I want my students to leave our time together as independent learners who enjoy the learning process....
