As an educator of 12 years, I believe strongly in the power of knowledge and education, and I seek to instill in my students the same ardor and desire to learn more as they progress through their lives. I became a teacher because I love observing the "Ah ha" moments with students when they learn to analyze, process, and comment on thoughts and information they take away from literary texts such as poetry, short stories, and novels or works of philosophy and literary theory and criticism.
