I taught middle school math for 35 years in the Watertown School District. I was the 1999 Darcy Foundation Award winner for district teacher-of-the-year. I do not believe in teaching "tricks" to do math, but rather have the student understand "why." I truly believe that anyone is capable of being successful in Math.
