I have been using Microsoft Access since the early 2000?s. It started when a friend of mine who ran his own catering business needed a way to keep track of his new business. Having been a computer programmer, of course all non-programmers assumed I could do anything having to do with a computer, so I helped.

Before I knew it, Excel spreadsheets had become tables in his Access database. What had been separate spreadsheets (expenditures, contacts, inventory, etc.) soon became Access tables ...
