The Fatherhood Initiative is a non-profit organization which helps fathers learn about the law when it comes to custody of their children.
Maurice Jenkins, Language Interpretation Tech student, is a strong believer in the program. He believes that people who come to summit sessions come out learning something they didn’t know or get help in a situation that they are in.
Jenkins decided to have them come to the college because, as we all know, there are a lot of fathers in the school. In lots of different cases fathers and mothers are always having problems with custody and child support. That’s why when they have their court appearances both men and women are allowed to show up and ask any questions.
The summit that was scheduled for September 13 has been postponed. If you want to learn more, visit their website http://www.fatherhood.org.
