MATC celebrates 2012 Spring Lamp of Knowledge Winners

Another semester ends, but not without honoring the best and brightest students. The candidates get recognized by their instructors. The Lamp of Knowledge nominees were recorded and put on a master list to the faculty and academic staff of the district in the spring for their information and evaluation. They must weigh a number of qualifying factors when evaluating prospective award recipients, including leadership and professionalism, extracurricular involvement related to their academic program, community involvement, class contributions, study and work habits, and grade point average.

On May 6, a special award ceremony will be held to honor the following individuals in their programs:
