Every year the MATC faculty, in collaboration with Student Life and the Scholastic Recognition Committee, select students with the highest achievements for the Lamp of Knowledge/Special Recognition Award. Students eligible for this award must have an Honor graduate status and receive faculty nomination. Only one student from each program/program code is eligible for nomination. Students selected will receive a Lamp of Knowledge Award and an appreciation gift, invitation to Lamp of Knowledge Awards Banquet and an opportunity to apply for the Outstanding Graduate Honor and a financial award.
