Entry level assembly role - Crate building in a woodworking environment. Do you have carpentry or assembly experience? Have you ever worked with power tool or nail guns? Do you like working with your hands? This job could be for you! Shift : 1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday 2nd Shift : 12:30pm to 10:30pm Monday through Thursday. Three day weekend!! 3rd Shift: 6pm to 4am Monday through Thursday night. Three day weekend!! Pay Rate : $17-18/hour Location : Milwaukee, WI JOB DESCRIPTION: Specification Checks. Able to read and interpret basic work orders. Safe use of power tools such as nail guns, saws, and drills to build various sized wood crates and boxes. Work among other production assemblers as a team environment. Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it. Housekeeping such as sweeping and disposing of scrap lumber. REQUIREMENTS : At least 6 months in manufacturing or related field. Experience using a nail gun preferred. Familiarity in a manufacturing environment. Ability to communicate effectively with a team. Basic computer skills needed to log in and out of time keeping system. Ability to lift up to 40lb
