Based in Milwaukee, WI, you will have the chance to utilize the engineering skills learned at school to work on engaging and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. We'll ask you to draw from your past internship experience to complete design tasks supporting project development from concepts through final design for transportation/transit projects. You'll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Offer design support on transportation projects
+ Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and early career professional programs Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
+ The work may include freeway, highway and roadway design, signing and pavement marking plans, utility plans, traffic control plans, technical writing, quantity calculations, construction documents, and all supporting documentation
+ Attend and contribute to project and team meetings
+ Complete design and preparation of plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
+ Prepare design reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, and engineers estimate
+ Perform other duties as needed

**Here's What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
+ Course work related to transportation engineering
+ Previous design intern experience
+ Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
+ Willingness to work in a team environment to develop engineering drawings and documents
Ideally, you'll also have:
+ Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months
+ Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
+ Ability to utilize design manuals, as needed
+ Self-driven time management and organizational skills
+ Submitted a cover letter with your resume
