Description We're looking for Accountant candidates who create spreadsheets in their sleep, and are looking to find their places in the accounting field. Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accountant with a highly successful organization. Candidates for this position should be comfortable with reviewing financial statements with a heavy data entry component. Are you interested in spreadsheet creation and manipulation? Your responsibilities

• Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

• Perform data entry

• Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

• Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned

• Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

• Investigating and fixing account discrepancies

• Make monthly journal entries Requirements - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

• Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

• Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

• At minimum, 1 year of relevant accounting experience

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience with high volume data entry

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Billing experience

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required
