POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Advertising and Partnership Programs Manager, performs assigned tasks and/or projects related to partnership program development. Our 10-week internships are designed to provide hands-on, project-based experience in various areas of our business.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Marketing Partnership Program at Versiti Internship provides an overview to all of our marketing segments with a focus on one main project that will support blood collections and increase donations from 25-45 year old donors this fall. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of project management, develop and implement a strategic marketing and communications plan, create a social and digital advertising plan and place the advertisements, and work together with a cross-functional team. This is a chance to gain exposure to many specialty areas in marketing, while also leading a fun and relevant project that will directly impact blood donations in the fall.Here at Versiti, we are blood health innovators who enhance lives through discovery, diagnosis and treatment. We are excited to share this with you through our Marketing Partnership Programs Internship.Job Duties:* Develops, implements and analyzes marketing project plan, including setting goals, identifying key milestones, acquiring support needed and defining success measurement* Builds and manages a basic sales partnership pipeline* Coordinates outreach and relationship building with prospective partners* Contributes to the creative development of campaign theme* Develops social and digital advertising recommendations* Works effectively with team members, contributing to team efforts.* Supports Versiti's mission, vision, and values as well as department goals and objectives.Experience* Completed a minimum of 2 years in college/university in a related field of study for the internship* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Skills and Knowledge* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Basic understanding of project management* Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems* Likes to collaborate with a team and also work independently* Ability to handle confidential information appropriatelyTools and Technology* Personal Computer (desktop, laptop, tablet)* General office equipment (computer, printer, copy machine)* Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)QUALIFICATIONSEducation* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program, preferably in a marketing, communications, advertising or related field
