Our great client is looking for a Jr. Engineer Technician onsite in Milwaukee, WI for a 12+ month contract. If you are interested please email your updated resume to Jordan at ...@apexsystems.com Job Summary: Works with Embedded Software Test Engineer, to design and assemble specific industrial control systems hardware test beds for embedded software functional testing of programmable controllers. Be able to construct and wire a test bed from a block drawing diagram and high level schematic. Must have a detailed understanding of, and experience working from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Wire a test bed with safety in mind adhering to applicable safety standards. Conduct routine troubleshooting of electrical wiring/circuits to determine and correct problems/issues. Typically requires vocational, military, or other education in electrical circuitry and theory. Initiate corrective action process when required. Completes all related test and quality documentation. Will require long hours of standing. There may be occasions where overtime hours will be required. Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent knowledge. Typically 5-10 years of experience wiring in a panel shop or machine maintenance. Working knowledge of PC equipment and related software. Working knowledge in wiring PLC-based industrial controls, including electrical schematics, best wiring practices and diagrams. (This is not an electrician position however previous experience could apply). Desired Qualifications Knowledge and/or experience with Rockwell products, software, communications networks.
