This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below. The JCI S Center of Excellence (CoE) is focused on building an end-to-end supply chain planning capability, while identifying opportunities to increase transparency, reliability and confidence in delivering our world class products to our stakeholders and our customers. Intern roles will be assigned to program deployment functional area to support S maturity assessment and deployment. During your internship you will have a variety of developmental opportunities in addition to your work assignments, such as, opportunity to interact with senior leaders from multiple disciplines, skill-building workshops, networking events, and community activities to help you explore diverse career paths! Position responsibilities include: Support the CoE team to identify key gaps and improvement opportunities in the current planning process Participate in gap assessment and roadmap development workshops Learn and apply sales and operations planning fundamentals Document the current state processes and workshop outcomes Routine use of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word What we look forRequired: Currently enrolled as a full-time student and completed freshmen year at an accredited U.S. college or university Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance or Engineering U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. Must be located in the Milwaukee area and available to work full-time in the summer Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong communication (verbal and written) skills Ability to learn quickly and to work in a team environment year work/ internship experience is preferred Johnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
