Description

Hi,

I, never having worked with Adobe Illustrator (2021) before, try the following: I would like to create a new spot color channel / color field made of 100% cyan and named "Contour" in an existing PDF using actions / automation. Then draw a contour and color it in the new full tone. That's it

So I'll record a new action and follow the steps above. If I perform the steps manually everything works and the contour is drawn in the desired solid tone. Unfortunately, when I do the same thing again, Illustrator does not create a color field called "Contour" in 100% cyan, but a color field called "C = 100 M = 0 Y = 0 K = 0" (default setting).

Is there any way Illustrator can be taught to give the swatch the appropriate name?
