Be part of the team that leads innovation in the athletic eCommerce industry and wear cool kicks to work every day!SUMMARYAs a Human Resources intern, you will:Gain insight general HR practices in a corporate retail settingParticipate in recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and engagementInfluence the organization in ways you never imagined!BENEFITSCasual dress environmentEmployee discountVolunteer opportunitiesOnsite learning & development opportunitiesTo apply:Join our sports-inspired, engaging team by submitting your application and resume.ResponsibilitiesSupport HR Business Partners with employee relations issues, learn the process from coaching conversations to formal documentationReview and recommend revisions to policies and proceduresAssist in ongoing transition to electronic record keepingCoordinate onsite events for employeesConduct research and present emerging trends in the workplaceIdentify innovative opportunities for elevating our HR servicesParticipate in recruiting, including: organizing and preparing for career fairs, campus recruiting, and conducting interviewsCreate and maintain a depository for job descriptions for all departments within the organizationAttend and support Learning and Development TrainingsOversee orientation activities, including gathering I-9 documentationMaintain an open line of communication with co-workers, management from other departments and the HR team across multiple sitesWork on special projects as assigned by HR teamParticipate in business projectMake the most of opportunities to join training sessions and networkingQualificationsTo qualify for an internship with Foot Locker, individuals must:Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2020 graduateArrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessaryBe available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
