As a 2020 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars, work alongside team mentors, and social events. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 8, 2020 and conclude on August 14, 2020.

About the team

The Integrated Banking Services (IBS) team is looking for a dynamic individual to support the product management team on the product strategy and direction for its 250+ clients.

The FIS Integrated Banking Services (IBS) product line provides for financial account processing, customer information systems, government reporting, integration, teller and branch automation capabilities, analytics, and overall banking functions. The IBS solution provides a complete, unified, and integrated user experience for the client base.

What you will be doing

  • You will support our product management team in assisting with product roadmaps to meet market requirements in support of product line strategy.
  • You will work with the team to develop an overall understanding of the various IBS products along with the ancillary products integrated with IBS.
  • You will assist with the go-to-market strategy presentations identifying key strategy contacts, understanding product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
  • You will have the unique opportunity to participate with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups, and requirements gathering sessions. Practice open and honest communications with clients.
  • You will be assisting our product management team with many various projects that come up throughout the internship
  • Most importantly, you will be working on projects that matter and directly impact business value
  • What you bring:

  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2020 through May 2021)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter; ability to work well independently and within a team
