Ensure that Marcus Theatres effectively sources, selects, and on-boards high performing team members to accomplish our vision, execute our strategies and achieve expected results. By understanding our business needs and developing effective relationships with internal customers, the Sr. Recruiter designs, develops, and executes highly effective talent acquisition systems, processes and tools with measured results and continuous improvement. Recruiting, Sourcing, Selection Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needsIdentify and source for current open positionsIdentify talent gaps, and future needs to proactively source and develop a robust talent pool pipelines in advance of needManage multi-channel recruiting process to fill pipeline with high quality candidates including search, internal recruiting, internet, employee referral, social networking, college recruiting, internships, job fairs, etc.Manage the recruiting life cycle for assigned client teams and hiring managers to include sourcing, assessments, screening, interviewing, reference checking, extension of offers and relocation assistance as needed Drive alternative sourcing for active and passive candidate sourcing utilizing social media, internet sourcing, networking and other means to creatively source candidates Assist in the development of college and technical school recruiting by developing a company presence and establishing working relationships with key contactsOwn the new hire onboarding experience for assigned client groups ensuring smooth transition and a high level experience for the new associates and hiring managersAssist in the development of the company brand / employee value proposition that communicates the Marcus Theatres brand in all talent acquisition touch points Measuring, Tracking, Reporting Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to measure, track, and report the status and success of recruiting initiatives to include search progress, candidate pipeline, diversity, recruiting channel effectiveness for assigned client groupsEstablish standard practices with hiring managers and conduct regular follow up meetings to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation and their effect on candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction and guest/customer service feedback and scores Functional CompetenciesProven capability in utilizing a wide variety of recruiting methods and tools to source both active and passive candidates to fill current and future talent needsDemonstrated ability to develop and implement recruiting plans that identify current and future talent gaps to proactively source and develop robust talent pool pipelines in advance of need.Experience with practice improvement that result in simplifying, standardizing and automating talent acquisition processes and practicesExpertise in using and interpreting various selection and assessment tools and implementing behavioral interviewing techniquesExperience working closely with hiring managers at all levels and building a strong relation based on trust and resultsDemonstrated capability in building and measuring return on the investment and the value provided from talent acquisition initiativesStrong computer skills including MS Office Products, applicant tracking and other recruiting software and tools Behavioral Competencies Team Player- partners effectively with all levels of management; communicates effectively with ability to influence and impact people across the organization to create seamless collaboration; displays executive maturity and flexibility in relationships with higher organizational levels.Planning & Organizing- has the ability to think strategically and globally (big picture) in a complex environment with an eye on flawless tactical execution; excellent analytical planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing and delivering multiple projects/tasks.Rigorous Execution- builds and executes with measures in place to track processes and results; attacks everything with energy and drive focused on achieving desired and expected results; takes initiative, action oriented delivering on promises and commitments reliably every time.Process Management- designs and executes standard processes that improve effectiveness, increase speed, and reduce costs; uses data and analytics to identify strengths and weaknesses moving quickly to achieve results.Innovation- creative, full of ideas and possibilities with broad knowledge; brings exciting ideas to life quickly and effectively by challenging assumptions and working through potential barriers building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders.Trustworthy- has a high level of integrity, ethics and discretion maintaining confidences and confidentiality at all times; enthusiastic, positive and effective even in the most complex, conflict ridden, ambiguous situations; is a widely trusted, direct, truthful individual. RequirementsBachelor Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline3 - 5 years of experience in talent acquisition / recruitingAbility to travel by car and air as needed up to 20% of the timeFrequently standing, walking, sitting with significant computer usageBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred Service or hospitality industry experience preferred
