This quite possibly could leave better choices for students and instructors and lessen the mishaps later in the semester of any conflicts that could arise, even based on personality exchange. More info is better, long term, and @ times, than no info and too many surprises!

Agree some bio description of instructors only regarding their expertise in the subject of instruction of concern can be helpful to students in making choices that will lessen conflicts and possibly improve performance and relationships on both sides! C

I'm excited for this. I've been attending MATC for 4 years now. I've heard from other students who have taken an exact same course with a different instructor and had a completely different syllabus and experience. Being able to have information PRIOR to a class would be helpful. In the 4 years, I think I have filled out only 2 surveys on an instructor's performance. I believe feedback is important to the instructors-for their benefit and mine.

I think this suggestion is good. I thinks its only fair that a student should know what to expect from the instructor.

I would also like to see an area where students could post their feedback about the instructors for all to see. I personally have had some great instructors and would like to share my opinions. I think if bad instructors knew that this information were made public there would be more incentive for them to provide a better experience.

For example, posting a student poll on their experience with instructors. These results (for every teacher in each program) could be posted online and included in the catalog. Good instructors could be rewarded with awards. Also have online forums where students could discuss their experiences about the program and its instructors.

Good teachers deserve to hear from us students!!!

I like this idea very much. I've had instructors that were so bad I could barely get out of the class fast enough. If students can read a review on a instructor, it would make their lives better. Half of the time, students drop out of the classes BECAUSE of the instructor and how he or she teaches. This will make class registration more more easier.
