The annual MATC Grand Ball is right around the corner. Twenty students from all four campuses are competing for the title of king and queen and a scholarship for $100.Each competitor is an active member of a student club who has sponsored them for the event. The candidate's dinner for the event was held on February 13 at the prestigious Pfister Hotel where each potential king and queen had a chance to give a reception speech.

This diverse group from many unique backgrounds shines as some of MATC's finest that are eager to represent the school.

The Grand Ball will be held on March 15. The Ball is open to all MATC students and their friends and family. Tickets are $25 a couple or $15 per person. Each ticket gives you one vote for a candidate.

The Ball will be located at Klemmer's Banquet Center (10401 West Oklahoma Avenue). The dance is from 8 p.m. to midnight, and the voting goes from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the Student Life Office at each campus and directly from the candidates (who should be out around the campuses campaigning for their crown).

Take a school-approved night off from your hard work for an evening to bring the students and clubs together as a family to share ideas, make new friends and simply have fun!

To make it even more exciting, this year's theme is "'50s and '60s," so dress to impress!
